A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held for Frankie Blackmon of Corinth on December 1, 2006. With two other locations in Tupelo, Corinth makes the third location for Frankie Blackmon, who offers Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, GMC, and GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. They have a staff that is dedicated to complete customer satisfaction that is headed up by Gerald Burgess, General Manager.

On May 14, 2007, Denise Parmely from Selmer, TN., was awarded a 2007 Pink Cadillac CTS for her hard work selling May Kay products. Denise hosted her monthly sales meeting at Blackmon of Corinth to unviel her brand new pink Cadillac. This is Denise's second pink Cadillac she has earned while selling May Kay products.

Blackmon of Corinth helps bring monster trucks to Crossroads Arena ... Frankie Blackmon of Corinth recently help sponsor monster truck events held at the Crossroads Arena in Corinth. Paul Shafer Motorsports Monster Trucks was welcomed with open arms to rock the arena in front of about 2,000-fans.

Blackmon of Corinth salesman wins dealership sponsored city/county golf championship ... Robbie Grosinske, who has been a member of the Blackmon of Corinth sales team since the dealership opened in September 2006, recently picked up a win in the Blackmon of Corinth City/County Golf Championship. "It was just the third time I had played all year," Grosinske, who shot a one-over 72 to claim his first championship said. "I haven't gotten to play a lot. Car salesman have to work." The championship held June 9 and 10, 2007 at Shiloh Ridge in Corinth was sponsored by Blackmon of Corinth. The dealership gave players an chance to win a new 2007 GMC Yukon with a hole-in-one prize on June 9. No one had a perfect shot to claim the prize. Currently plans are in place for the dealership ... and Grosinske to be a part of the event in 2008.

Blackmon & race track offer $1,000 purse to winner ... Frankie Blackmon of Corinth recently joined with the Northeast Mississippi Motorsports Park in Glen to offer the winner of a 40-lap feature pro-stock dirt race a cool $1,000 grand prize. The dealership also paced the field during the pace laps in a new 2007 GMC Sierra 4WD Crew Cab Truck. Zack Steen represented the dealership during the special race weekend.

Retirement celebrated ... The staff at Frankie Blackmon of Corinth recently celebrated the retirement of two long time employees. Wayne Newborn, from Corinth, and Robert Whitley, from Tupleo, have been in the car business over 50-years combined. Wayne has helped many customers purchase a vehicle as a sales representive, while Robert has turned wrenched on customers vehicles as a service technician.
